Margaret Muchemi is a fast rising commercial and runway model in Kenya. She is a student at JKUAT and a former Miss World Kenya Kajiado County 2014. Recently, she was First Runners Up, Miss World Kenya 2015, coming second after winner Charity Mwangi. Margaret Muchemi has been modeling for quite sometime now. She has showcased at major fashion shows in Kenya.
This year, she achieved her biggest dream yet; to represent Kenya on a global scale. Margaret was invited to the first ever Diaspora Entertainment and Recognition Awards (DEAR). The DEAR ceremony was held in Dallas, Texas on September 5th. She managed to win the award in models category for her work with several NGO’s in Kenya. She has participated in gigger-fighting campaigns in several counties, worked with Smile Train to raise awareness about cleft and palate issues that affect children and has mentored many girls in schools in her county.
